Church membership is a formal recognition of an individual’s commitment to God and His people in a local church context.  As such Romford Elim has always regarded membership as a matter of high importance for the good order, effective mission and spiritual life of the fellowship.  To be a member a person must be:

• a born again believer;
• water baptized;
• aged 18 or over;
• a regular attender and having been in attendance for at least 6 months;
• a supporter of the fellowship and recognizing the ministry and authority of the leadership; and
• in agreement with the fundamental truths of the Elim Pentecostal Church demonstrating a way of life that upholds and honors the teachings of the bible.

Finally, they must have completed the church membership course after which they will be officially welcomed in a service of membership on a Sunday morning.
