Subject: What Should Be Happening

God’s presents to His people are not like any other, for instance He does not ask you what you want except perhaps if it is a spiritual gift or even how much of something you would like; and of course having given a Spiritual gifting He can increase it or widen it at His sovereign pleasure.

Now because the Lord knows everything and nothing can be hidden from Him and so He knows what you would really, really like and would take pleasure in, does He take into account the attempts we make to keep things from Him, from ourselves, from others etc., in deciding if He will give us a present or if He needs to get us to see an annoying habit, pastime or cunning practice that He has been trying to get us to stop?

The answer is yes. So if you feel you have no Spiritual gifts then it could be that you are holding out on Him over something, leaving consequently yourself with out what He has for you. Ensure that you are right with God and be open to what ever He has for you.
