About Glen Podd: Glen became a committed Christian in 1977 as a result of his mother’s prayers and his sister’s persistence. It was at a youth crusade called “The Whole Story” hosted by Rev. David Watson in Leeds Town Hall. He began worshipping at the Elim Pentecostal Church in Leeds called ‘Bridgestreet’. He joined the youth group and served on the youth committee from 1979, becoming the Youth Leader in 1981. There he met Gillian who he married in 1985. In 1988 they left for Elim Bible College in Nantwich, Cheshire for 3 years training to be an Elim Minister. In 1991 he was posted to Ilford, London where he assisted for 7 years. They had three children there, all girls, Hannah, Sarah and Rachel. In 1998 he was posted to Romford, Essex as the Senior Pastor where he is still serving.
